National Night Out in Cincinnati is August 2.

In light of the recent tragedies over the past few weeks, police in Cincinnati as in cities and towns all across the nation will get together with the community for cook outs, ice cream socials, and other events to further celebrate and strengthen relationships with community members.

The Cincinnati Police Department has partnered with community groups in each District to highlight crime prevention, to discuss public safety initiatives and to foster positive police community relations.  There will be exhibits, displays and demonstrations with specialized police units and equipment.  Food, music, activities and games will add to the festive spirit.
